Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the EZ Coupler Cap from Valterra. This is a valve cap that fits a standard 3" waste valve. It features a built-in handle for easy operation, so it allows you to easily install it and remove it from the actual waste valve. It also features a 3/4" gray water drain. Now, this product is made from a durable plastic construction. It's clear when it comes to the coloring, it does already feature the installed seals, so it's going to ensure leak-proof connections, and it comes with two tethers to keep the caps close by, so you don't misplace them or lose them.
One right here is for the main drain cap and then the other tether is for the gray water drain cap, the 3/4" water drain.That's going to do it for today's look at the EZ Coupler Cap from Valterra.
I got this to add vegetable oil via a short hose to lubricate the drain valve.
The handle makes removing the cap a snap. I already had one of these in black for everyday use. No more kneeling on the ground to reach the awkward cap.
I am always pleased with anything I order from etrailer! I appreciate their sense of urgency from their confirmation that they received the order all the way to notifying me that my package arrived!

I bought this to replace my previous cap which only had 2 ears and 1 of them broke off. I wanted to replace it with one that has 4 things... 4 ears, a handle to grab to install/uninstall, clear so you can see what's going on, and it has the 3/4" garden hose fitting to dump grey water. This one has all 4!!! The only thing I would change is the photos, it looks frosted, but it really is completely clear so you CAN see the water inside.
I replaced a similar black cracked ABS cap. I like the feature that you can see what is in the drain pipe. I added a small hose drain valve to the cap so I can relieve pressure build up or drain a minor amount of waste fluid into the drain hose before opening up the cap(valve cuts down on surprises).

The transparent caps are working well and allow me to see any and how much fluid is still in the piping to allow for connection without the black or grey water shower.
Sturdy construction. Easy to use. The handle provides a good grip for removing & reinstalling the valve cover. I’d recommend this to replace stock valve covers since the stock covers provide virtually no grip surface to twist them on & off.
We haven’t had a chance to use it while traveling yet. It looks like it’s going to be just great though! Thank you.
Exactly what I needed
Much easier to use than the factory cap. I love the fact that it's clear to ensure no potential messes. A must have.
The easy cupler cap is so much better than the stock cap. Much easier on the hands, has a convenient hose port and is see through as well.Highly recommend.
Handle is very handy
Bought two because previous caps kept breaking the ears off. So far I have yet to break an ear and it’s nice to be able to see that the line is empty Before removing cap.
The Item functionally is great. The handle makes it easy to twist on and remove. The item was substituted because it did not have the eTrailer printed on the handle, but functionally it is the same. seems sturdy, but time will tell. I really love the handle since without it, it is difficult for me to twist on and off a cap without this added feature.

Works great.
This is probably the most useful item I ever purchased. It meets the three needs for a sewer cap: 1) it’s easy to take off; 2) you can see if you have any leakage; and 3) you have an easy way to drain the pipe without creating a mess.
Works just like a normal cover, but the hose connection allows connection of a garden hose in case the distance to a dump is longer than your normal accordion. Should only be used for gray water.
Great thing to have. I had an incident where the black tank valve was cracked open and when i went to hook up the hose.... Well it wasnt the best situation. LOL
This will allow me to see if anything is in the drain line and it has a way for me to drain anything that might be in the line without getting dirty.
Love it! As a single woman pulling a trailer, my hands are not big or strong enough to easily take the sewer cap off so it is quite a process. This item makes everything sooooo easy.
I've been putting up with my leaky old cap that was both hard to put on and take off. This new cap is fantastic tic from the big grip handle to the hose drain, to the great seal. I definitely recommend this product.
With the designed handle it is so much easier to remove the cap. The clear plastic provides a quick way to check for liquid prior to removing the cap.

Not very glamorous as products go, but extremely strong, and well designed; and perhaps the highest praise I can offer for a sewage product, it does what it's supposed to do.

A big fear among many RV owners have is opening that port and finding out that one of the valves has been leaking and you now have a mess that you could have prepared for had a bucket if youd known. This cap gives you that knowledge. Im thankful its never happened to me, but Ive seen and smelled it and never want to be the cause. The cap is well made and will probably last as long as the RV.
It is what it said it is. I love not having to grab the body. Greatly decreases the potential to get black water on my gloves.
A simple and easy orocess
Works great when I am pumping my grey water into a barrel.

These thing are a game changer. I originally bought it because I have a hard time bending over enough to reach under for the original cap. The new caps with a handle makes it a breeze. I also added a clear 45 deg. extension on my hose, and its now easy. But, the beauty of the cap is having a 34 hose fitting, I can use a section of hose with a funnel and add lubricant to the tank valves while theyre closed or open and I dont dump it on the ground. Your funnel just has to be above the level in the tank. Easy.
